Tuesday: Bruins at Canadiens
The two teams met earlier this month on Canadian ground. It was the infamous Charlie Coyle “offside” goal that would get called back and ultimately lead to people petitioning even harder for the offside call to be abolished. The Habs are sitting in third within the Atlantic Division with 27 points. After the game on Saturday, Canadien’s coach, Claude Julien called his defense, “weak.”
It goes without saying that regulation wins are important. This could be a tricky two points to snatch up considering how they matched up just a few weeks ago.
The Bruins could capitalize on a “weak” defense. Charlie McAvoy will come alive this game, book it.
Wednesday: Bruins at Ottawa
This will be the first time the teams will meet since the David Backes and Scott Sabourin collision. The Senators are currently in seventh place in the Atlantic. The Bruins cannot underestimate their opponents. They tend to jeopardize those two points when they go into games with that mentality.
Friday: Bruins vs. Rangers
The Black Friday matinee will be a good one. The Bruins will be debuting their new alternate jerseys on the ice and will also have them for sale in the Pro Shop. The Rangers are one of those teams where you can never tell who you’re going to get. They either look like a bunch of beer league players or a team that’s ready to run for the cup. Again, the Bruins need to come prepared for this opponent.
