Nolan Arenado is the 27-year-old third baseman for the Colorado Rockies. Arenado has captured the hearts of many through his defensive ability. The way he plays the field is something I’ve never seen before. You’d be sorely mistaken if you thought he only thrived in the field. Nolan’s swing is mesmerizing. There’s so much power in that swing. You can see it in his heels and hips. Watch this breakdown to be completely captivated.

If you don’t know him, you should. Allow me to introduce you to Mr.Arenado.  Nolan is a three-time All-Star who has won the Gold Glove five times. He’s the only player to win the Gold Glove five times in his first five seasons. Not to mention, he’s pretty good at the plate. The three-time Silver Slugger has lead the National League in home runs TWICE. Have I mentioned this is only his sixth season?

Personally, I love watching Nolan play. I think he brings something special to the team and the game. There’s a sense of excitement when he’s out in the field. While there is a handful of talented third basemen, Nolan Arenado has the upper hand in most categories. 

The 2013 Rookie of The Year is on pace for 140+ RBIs this season. It’s still early and anything can happen. I believe it’s players like Nolan who will attract more fans. Between his strong bat and defensive power, this guy is hard to hate. Here’s to hoping for another successful season for Nolan and the rest of the Rockies!
